Secret of a Long Life: Ever Active

Exercise helps us have a strong body, build immunity, help with weight control, and also helps us have good mental health, happiness, and stress relief. This matches the “Ever Active” concept that REAL ASSET is committed to in creating each project, in order to encourage all residents to exercise regularly or do activities that help make life happier. However, with the current COVID-19 situation, we are unable to go exercise at the gym. Therefore, exercising at home has become one of the New Normal activities that many people are practicing.

Today, REAL ASSET would like to recommend 3 types of home exercise that are easy to do, use only a small amount of space, and do not require a lot of equipment.

Cardio

There are many types of “cardio” exercise. You can do it alone or with family members, such as brisk walking or running around the house. You can run while listening to music, or walk while talking with family members. Dancing is also a form of exercise that uses music, which makes exercise more fun. For anyone who is interested in starting to exercise, this type of exercise is a good choice because it can be done easily at home.

Body Weight

“Body weight” exercise is suitable for people who do not have much time because it can be done at home without going to the gym, and it does not take long. Just 10-15 minutes is enough, because it focuses on doing only a few movements continuously in a short period of time, such as squats, lunges, squat jumps, or push-ups. This amount of time is definitely enough to make you sweat. If someone has never done this type of exercise before but is interested, they can try watching instructional clips on YouTube and follow along.Yoga

For anyone who does not like intense exercise, “yoga” may be something that can meet your needs, because each yoga pose must be done slowly and not in a hurry, so that the muscles can stretch as much as possible. Therefore, it can help reduce office syndrome symptoms. Since it is an exercise that must be done slowly, it also helps us practice concentration. However, because of the COVID-19 outbreak situation at this time, we cannot go out anywhere and must stay at home, so learning yoga through online classes has become a new option.
